Required Qualifications of Audiologists

  • Master’s degree or certification from an accredited university
  • Specialized training in the prevention, identification, and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders
  • Completion of a full-time internship
  • Pass a national competency examination by the American Speech Language and Hearing Association for Certification

St. Luke's Physical TherapySpecialized Diagnostic Evaluations Include:

  • Electronystagmography (ENG) for dizziness
  • Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER) for neurology and hearing
  • Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) for hearing and
    other procedures
