PEDIATRIC REHAB

Our Pediatric therapists are required to have a Master’s Degree, state licensing and specialty training. St. Luke’s Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists work as a team with children to maximize their ability to move, play, and communicate.

  • Pediatric Occupational Therapy enables appropriate and independent play, fine motor skills, sensory integration based therapy, visual motor skills, visual perceptual skills and self-help skills
  • Pediatric Physical Therapy assesses and treats strength, gross motor skills, muscle tone, range of motion and overall mobility in order to improve and maximize independent function and safety within the daily environment
  • Pediatric Speech Therapy evaluates and treats disorders of articulation, language,
    fluency, voice, feeding, swallowing, and combinations of these in order to allow the patient to communicate functionally and add alternative/augmentative communication effectively, and safely
  • Specialties include: Sensory Integration, Feeding Therapy, Neurodevelopmental Training Techniques, Praxis test evaluation (certified sensory processing testing), SOS approach to feeding and Aquatic Therapy
